St. Luker Robert “Bob” Avery Wilroy passed away on January 30 at the age of 88. He and his wife Betty were part of the original founding members of St. Luke's.
After serving a short time in the Army, Bob began a career in computers that led to working on Apollo missions at NASA and eventually his own computer company.
Bob loved his family, dancing (he taught and competed), working with his wife in antiquities, and making people smile.
A private funeral service for family and friends was held on February 21 at Dr. Phillips Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Bob’s honor to help support a local pet rescue or Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.
Please keep Bob’s children, Ava and Rex, and their extended family in your prayers.

Allen Raymond Trammell, Jr. passed away peacefully on February 17 surrounded by his family at the age of 81.
Allen had an exceptional college football and baseball career at the University of Florida. His legendary performance against Kentucky, where he hit a grand slam homerun and two doubles in a single inning, remains etched in Gator folklore. Allen was inducted into the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame in 1975. Following college, Allen pursued professional football with the Houston Oilers until a career-ending injury cut short his time on the field. Undeterred, he transitioned seamlessly into coaching and later enjoyed careers in sporting goods sales and in the commercial insurance industry.
Allen found joy in hunting, fishing, playing golf with friends, and cheering on his beloved Gators. However, his greatest source of pride and happiness was by far his family. He shared a deep and enduring bond with his devoted wife, Charlotte, and took immense joy in the accomplishments and adventures of his children, grandchildren, and extended family.
A memorial service to celebrate Allen’s life will be held on Thursday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary at St. Luke’s.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Allen’s memory to the UF Center for Movement Disorders and Restoration, Orlando Health Foundation, or a charity of choice.
Please keep Allen’s wife Charlotte, their children, and extended family in your prayers during this time.
