We are quickly approaching go live for TSS, and here's what you should know:

Students are expected to receive access to TSS on July 20 at 10am. The Office of the Registrar contacted students on July 9 to prepare them for accessing TSS, viewing their booking windows, and getting support during launch and hypercare. View the emails sent to undergraduate students and graduate students.

Staff and faculty will receive access to TSS on July 13 at 10am. View the July 10 campus notice that provides key resources and actions for staff and faculty, including how access will be provisioned, where to find TSS training & support, and more.

- The TSS Training team delivered an “Introduction to TSS Billing” webinar to Student Financial Solutions last month and will be delivering this training to other campus units in the coming weeks. A part 2 session on “Advanced Billing” is in the works!

A general Accounts Receivable (AR) Screen Training is now on TSS Training Homepage. Check it out & share with your colleagues!

Now Available! The Getting Started in TSS: General System Use training is now available and is the first foundational training course for the TSS! Designed for all staff who are new to TSS, this foundational course introduces the system, walks you through logging in, and familiarizes you with key navigation and core features.

Fall 2026 Booking and Registration Calendar Update: The Office of the Registrar has updated the Booking and Registration Calendar for Fall 2026 to include intentional spacing between undergraduate booking groups. Read more details on Fall 2026 Booking and Registration Calendar Update.

FERPA Training for Staff and Faculty Required to access TSS: If you have not yet completed the required FERPA training (30 mins) or your training has expired, please do so as soon as possible to avoid delays in accessing TSS. Some TSS roles may also need to complete additional training. See the July 10 campus notice.

Introducing the TritonGPT Student Planner for FA26: The WebReg tool that students have been using for course planning is being replaced by the TritonGPT Student Planner, a specialized version of TritonGPT designed to help students search for classes and build potential schedules. - Visiting Student Enrollment Possible Delay: Enrollment at UC San Diego for visiting students may be delayed for the Fall 2026 term or postponed to Winter 2027 due to ongoing implementation of TSS. Check back for updates on the Cross Enrollment webpage.

TEA Settings and EASy Transition: As a reminder, the initial launch of TEA will include core request and review functionality. Department self-service access to update department- and course-level settings through the TEA Admin app will not be available until later. Review the full TEA Admin App update.

Student Account Charges Freeze: As part of the transition to TSS, departments will not be able to post non-registration related charges to student accounts from July 1 through early August 2026. Departments that assess fees directly to student accounts should review the full update: Student Account Charges Freeze update.

Direct Deposit & Financial Aid Transition: During the initial transition period to TSS, two direct deposit systems will be running simultaneously and students will need to update either MyTritonLink or TSS, accordingly. Financial aid disbursements will also be temporarily paused July 29–August 5 and are expected to resume beginning August 7.
