Dear Vero
We are writing with an update on plans for the end of Fall quarter. We know that many of you are concerned about the impact of a prolonged strike, and we want to assure you that the College of Letters and Science, the College of Engineering, the College of Creative Studies, the Office of Teaching and Learning, and the Division of Student Affairs will have contingency plans in place in the event this strike lasts beyond the end of the quarter. This includes working with faculty and departments and offering them resources and strategies to ensure that final grades can be recorded by the grading deadline.

In the event that a final grade for a course is not recorded, we are developing contingency plans to ensure that this would not impact your financial aid, athletic eligibility, prerequisite requirements, and/or the completion of your degree. If it becomes necessary to implement these plans, we will provide you with more information. The continuity of your education is our utmost concern.
