š¬AI Summit and Scholars Forum |
IUP will celebrate Research Appreciation Week (April 6ā10) with two signature student-focused events: the AI Summit and the Scholars Forum.
The AI Summit, held April 7, is an all-day hybrid experience featuring interactive workshops, panels, and hands-on sessions exploring artificial intelligence tools, ethics, literacy, and real-world applications. Students who attend at least half of the sessions will earn an IUP AI Summit Digital Badge.

On April 8, the Scholars Forum brings undergraduate and graduate students together for a three-hour, in-person event showcasing research, scholarship, and creative work from all disciplines. Students interested in presenting at the Scholars Forum should submit proposals by March 6 via the online application.

Your success in college depends on a combination of factors: the learning strategies you apply in and out of the classroom, as well as your attitude and commitment to working hard and achieving your goals. At this mid-point in the semester, take inventory of what strategies are working well for you and what is not working well. Adjust your study practices to accommodate each course and the course requirements.Ā

How Do I See My Midterm Grades for This Spring? |
Did you know students can view their midterm grades starting Monday, March 2, at 10:00 a.m. through MyIUP? To view your grades, select the Open Student Dashboard and then the View Grades link. You will need to select the term (Spring 2026) to view your midterms. Contact your Navigator if you need academic support.

The Crimson Hawks gear up for their final home game of the regular season tomorrow, Saturday, February 28. In both top-25 matchups, the women will play at 1:00 p.m., followed by the men at 3:00 p.m. in the šKCAC. We will also be celebrating seniors on both teams. There will be free IUP 150 anniversary shirts for all fans in attendance (while supplies last). Students can pick up their free shirt at the student entrance upon arrival. Canāt make the game? The Student Organization Assembly is one of IUPās largest student leadership gatherings, bringing together hundreds of student leaders, organization representatives, and campus partners. It serves as a cornerstone event for collaboration, inspiration, and strategic planning for the year ahead. This yearās assembly will feature a series of workshops and discussions centered on themes critical to student leadership and organizational development, and will take place on Wednesday, March 4, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the šHUB Ohio Room.

Damage Dolls Modeling Troupe is back! Support the group on Saturday, February 28, from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m. in the šHUB Ohio Room. There will be special guest performances, a raffle, entertainment, and more. Tickets are $10 at the door, $5 in advance.

Getting tested for sexually transmitted infections is simple, quick, and affordable. Walkāin STI testing (tests for chlamydia and gonorrhea) is available at šHealth Service for just a $10 Wellness Visit on the first Wednesday of every month. The process takes only a few minutes, and your results will be emailed to you within 48 hours, along with a secure link to access your patient portal. This month, testing will take place on March 4 from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Plus, you get a lollipop after the test!

This Kipp Gallery solo exhibit runs through March 5. Cheryl Capezzuti transforms everyday discards, particularly dryer lint, into sculptural works that explore domesticity, memory, love, loss, and the human condition, often engaging communities in collaborative projects that blend humor, intimacy, and social reflection. The Gallery, located in šSprowls Hall, is open Mondays and Wednesdays from noon until 2:00 p.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The Lively Arts is sponsoring this poignant comedy on the šWaller Mainstage in Waller Hall. By the Time We Got to Woodstock follows the story of a young man whose family cabin is overrun by a motley crew of strangers all trying to get to the fabled music festival, through bad weather and worse luck, before it ends. Purchase your tickets today! Performances will take place February 26 through the 28 and on March 1. This play contains mild adult themes and is recommended for teenagers and adult audiences.
