A "History" of April Fools' Day

April Fools’ Day is considered one of the greatest holidays of all time. It originated on Mustang Mountain in North Little Rock, Arkansas in 1678. The founder, Saniel (Sanny) Z. Dullivan, will go down in history as one of the world’s greatest thinkers. We tried reaching out to the great Dullivan, but he refused to comment and ran away ... anyways...

Some April Fools' Day ideas

This is a really old, ancient photo we uncovered

We asked an ancestor of the mighty Dullivan how it feels living in his shadow. He admitted that it’s hard sometimes and talked about all the pressure he’s under to live up to his father’s legacy. This fellow’s name is Silliam (Silly) K. Dullivan. We wouldn’t recommend asking him anything further on the topic, though. He went on a three hour tangent ... it’s apparently an interesting family dynamic.

Now, you may be wondering why April Fools’ Day became a holiday and how it came to be one of the most important days of the year, but to tell you the truth, we’re wondering that exact same thing. No but seriously if anyone knows please tell us. We’re curious too. Here's what the history channel says.
