Blessed Treasures Patio Sale

Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Join us on the patio of the Blessed Treasures Gift Shop (behind the Building C Gymnasium) for a Patio Sale with upscale resale of clothing, purses, and other boutique items. Follow the Gift Shop signs down the gravel road. All proceeds support local and global missions and charities.

St. Luke’s United Women in Faith invite all St. Luke’s ladies and friends to The Great Exchange on Saturday, May 27 at 12:00 p.m. in Founder’s Hall.

Bring gently-used clothing and household items to put on the exchange table and watch the fun begin as everyone finds something “new” for their wardrobe or home.

You are also invited to bring your favorite dish to share for this potluck lunch. Bring an entrée, salad, vegetable, or dessert - and don’t forget the recipe! Drinks will be provided.

Share some good food, exchange some fun items, and enjoy a wonderful time of fellowship!

Find community with others as you gather throughout the week in your Life Together Groups. Participants can join groups online any day of the week, or in person on Wednesday nights.

Life Together - Retirees: Join this online group on Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m. for fellowship and prayer.

Contemplative Way: Visit the Research Library for fellowship and prayer on Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m.

Prayer Stations: St. Luke’s transept area in the Sanctuary & Building C Chapel are available during the week and after worship services on Sundays for a quiet space to pray and reflect. Prayer request cards are available in both venues for our Prayer Team to pray for you.

Grow It Forward Farm Workdays: Help communities with no affordable access to fresh produce grow their own vegetables by volunteering in one of our micro-farms. Find dates and sign up at st.lukes.org/growitforward.

Caring Kitchen: This ministry meets on the first Thursday of most months at 7:00 p.m. in the Building C Kitchen to prepare meals for St. Lukers in need.

The next meeting date is Thursday, June 1. Registration is required and spots fill up fast so sign up at st.lukes.org/caringkitchen or call 407.876.4991 ext. 262!

Free Knitting/Crocheting Class: Learn how to create handmade prayer shawls and hats for local hospitals and congregation members on Wednesdays from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Barnes Learning Center (second floor of Founder’s Hall) Room 210. All ages and experience levels are welcome. Learn more at st.lukes.org/heartstohands.

Baptism Hosts: Show St. Luke’s hospitality by volunteering to greet and help baptism families on the third Sunday of each month in Founder’s Hall or the Sanctuary. Habitat for Humanity: Join a team on the next St. Luke’s Build Day to help build and revitalize homes in East Winter Garden. We’re looking for volunteers to come out and help with painting, wall building, wrapping, drywall, landscaping, caulking, cabinet/flooring installation, roofing work, or other construction activities.

The next build day is Saturday, July 1 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All tools and instructions are provided and no construction experience is necessary. Visit st.lukes.org/habitat to sign up.
