There are two additional public sessions on April 2, designed for IUP employees but open to all: from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. and from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Blue Room of Sutton Hall. A special session is also scheduled during the Student Government Association's meeting at 7:30 p.m. in Elkin Hall's Great Room.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to have a say in what IUP will look like in the years to come. The Long-Range Facilities Master Plan Update Executive Steering Committee co-chairs are Debra Fitzsimons, vice president, Division of Administration and Finance; and Lara Luetkehans, provost and vice president, Division of Academic Affairs.
“The update includes a careful examination of how IUP is using its current space in order to create recommendations for the future of the Indiana campus facility footprint,” Fitzsimons and Luetkehans said.
“The long-range facilities planning process is very deliberately designed with the understanding that universities evolve over time because the needs of our students change, and our plans for our facilities need to change to meet these needs,” Luetkehans said.
Attending the session will ensure that your voice is heard to help shape IUP's future.

First impressions matter. If you are preparing to meet a new professor, peer, or colleague, one of the most important aspects is giving a confident introduction while remaining genuine about who you are and what is important to you. Highlight your accomplishments and strengths while staying authentic. Practice with a friend or in the mirror so you are prepared when introducing yourself to others for the first time.
