Fusion Fellows to Tackle Real-World Issues

Thanks to a donation from 1973 graduates Tim and Debra Cejka, students from two IUP colleges are teaming up on innovative projects that address real-world challenges. Learn about the first four students selected for the Fusion Fellows program and about the cross-disciplinary projects they’ll pair up on: producing a documentary on IUP conservation efforts in Honduras and researching an early African American community in the Laurel Highlands.

Student Makes Stock Picker Challenge Top 10

During the CFA Society of Pittsburgh’s recent Collegiate Stock Picker Challenge, finance major Brayden Landherr placed in the top 10 for individual student returns. Seventy-four students from seven universities participated. Learn more about the competition and about Landherr’s work with IUP’s Student Managed Investment Portfolio.

Dillard in Running for Small College Basketball Award

Communications media major Dallis Dillard made the top 25 watch list for Small College Basketball’s Trevor Hudgins Award, presented in April to the senior with the best career in small college basketball (generally, in a program outside of NCAA Division I). Considerations include statistics, achievements, and character. Find out what makes Dillard a contender.
