Stories on Stage and Screen

We are proud to announce the 2026 National Theatre Live Series at Theatrikos, featuring a powerful lineup of acclaimed productions recorded live from London’s National Theatre and shared with our community here in Flagstaff. These screenings invite audiences to experience extraordinary performances and timeless stories in a setting designed for connection, conversation, and shared discovery.

This season marks the formal launch of Film at Theatrikos, our newly unified film program and an important step in the evolution of our organization. While we previously offered a glimpse of this initiative, Film at Theatrikos now takes center stage as a core part of our artistic mission. Film allows us to broaden the ways we tell stories, welcome new audiences into our space, and strengthen Theatrikos as a multidisciplinary arts hub committed to accessibility, artistic excellence, and community engagement.

"Our partnership with National Theatre Live allows us to share some of the most extraordinary theatre being created in the world, while still honoring what makes Theatrikos special: the joy of experiencing stories together. As we launch Film at Theatrikos, we are embracing film as another powerful way to tell meaningful stories, deepen community connection, and expand access to exceptional art. This series reflects our belief that great storytelling belongs on every stage, including the screen."

Written and performed by Phoebe Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Killing Eve) and directed by Vicky Jones, Fleabag is a rip-roaring look at some sort of woman living her sort of life. Following a box-office record-breaking run in cinemas in 2019, the one-woman show returns to the big screen.

Fleabag may seem oversexed, emotionally unfiltered and self-obsessed, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. With family and friendships under strain and a guinea pig café struggling to keep afloat, Fleabag suddenly finds herself with nothing to lose.

The hilarious, award-winning play that inspired the BBC’s hit TV series Fleabag, was filmed live on stage in London’s West End in 2019.

Presented by DryWrite, Soho Theatre and Annapurna Theatre.
