Dear St. Lukers,
It was a precious weekend as our cast of young people shared the age-old story of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer where misfits find a place of belonging. The cast was amazing and it was a gift to meet so many of our community neighbors who came to the show. It was a huge success not only because of the kids, but the dedicated, gifted volunteers who spent months designing the set, making costumes and props, and working with the children every Sunday. Through the generosity of our volunteers, scholarship donors, and artists, it was a wonderful learning experience for 26 children and young people. It was the perfect story for St. Luke’s to share and kick off December!

But we aren’t done yet...
This week the campus is abuzz with 100+ people attending dress rehearsals and prepping for our annual Christmas Concerts. The Sanctuary Choir is ready, the orchestra is getting tuned, the dancers and children are getting in costume, and the elves are sprucing up the campus to invite you to "I'll Be Home for Christmas," with concerts this Saturday and Sunday. You can purchase your tickets by clicking here, there are still some seats available! You won’t want to miss this beautiful musical telling of the nativity story. Plus, it really feels like Christmas once the last note is played!
AND there’s more…
We then turn our focus toward Christmas Eve and the nine services in the Sanctuary...
|
Reminder: The church campus is closed from December 26 through January 2 in observance of Christmas and New Year's Day. We will re-open on Sunday, January 1 for one combined worship service in Founder's Hall at 10:00 a.m. (and live on Facebook), and the office will re-open on Tuesday, January 3 at 9:00 a.m.
