This initial release of TSS is focused on delivering the core capabilities needed to support Fall 2026. As with any major system launch, you may encounter limitations, workarounds or functionality that continues to evolve as the system stabilizes. The TSS team is actively reviewing reported issues and prioritizing fixes that affect critical university operations, so please use one of the established TSS support channels to ensure your request is tracked and directed to the right team. To access TSS, ensure you have been approved via the access request form and log in via sis.ucsd.edu.

- My Academic History to launch soon: This application in TSS will showcase course bookings, transfer credits, past courses and more for students. Its expected release in TSS is early November* in advance of Winter 2027 booking (*subject to change).
-
Grading: The configuration and technical teams are currently working on the Grading functionality for TSS. Testing is expected to occur over the coming weeks, with a launch for early December (*subject to change).
-
Dropping & F grades: An issue was reported this week where students were assigned an F grade for courses they dropped with a withdrawal (W). While the team did deploy an initial resolution on 10/27, additional reports have been made and the issue persists. The team is actively reviewing and correcting impacted student records and a new resolution is expected soon. No additional actions are needed from students or staff at this time.
- Dropping Courses: Please help share this reminder with students through your department's communication channels to help prevent accidental course drops.
-
Important Reminder about Dropping Courses in TSS: In TSS, dropping a course happens immediately when you click Drop. There is no warning or confirmation prompt before the action is processed. Before clicking Drop, make sure you intend to drop the course. Take a moment to verify your selection, as you won't be asked to confirm before the drop takes effect.
