Art Spiegelman, a Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist, believes comics are increasingly important in post-literate culture for conveying iconographic images and language bursts. Spiegelman's 1992 Holocaust narrative, Maus, and Arthur Szyk's anti-Nazi political cartooning will be discussed in conjunction with the Fairfield University Art Museum's exhibition. This program is presented in collaboration with the Carl and Dorothy Bennett Center for Judaic Studies and the Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County.

She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland and Johns Hopkins Schools of Nursing and was a Robert Wood Johnson Health Policy Fellow in 2014.
