Warhawk Pantry turns eight years old!

The Warhawk Food Pantry is excited to celebrate its eighth birthday Monday-Friday, March 9-13! Stop by the UC main concourse this Wednesday, March 11, between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a birthday cake celebration, and pick up a treat courtesy of Warhawk Dining. We will also feature fun facts and history tidbits on social media and a special birthday box supply drive.

Help us celebrate throughout March by donating supplies to create birthday boxes for fellow Warhawks in need! Donations are accepted March 1-31 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 3-6 p.m., or schedule a time by contacting foodpantry@uww.edu. Requested items include cake mix, lemon-lime soda, frosting, sprinkles, foil pans and balloons. Let’s make it a sweet celebration!

Tuesday: Connect with Whitewater Forward

Join us for a pop-up event this Tuesday, March 10, from 4-5 p.m. in the UC Summers Auditorium — or at our table in the UC from 4-5:30 p.m. — as the Whitewater Forward planning team discusses the City of Whitewater’s new comprehensive plan. Wednesday: Circuit judge, UWW alum speaks

Join the Department of Politics, Government, and Law for the annual John Kenneth Kyle Lecture this Wednesday, March 11, from 7-8 p.m. in the UC Summers Auditorium. The Honorable Jason A. Rossell, Kenosha County Circuit Court Judge and UW-Whitewater graduate, will speak about the politicization of circuit courts.

Friday: Scholarship & Creative Achievement submissions due

The research and creative works our university generates are key to creating a vibrant, engaging learning community. We invite all faculty and staff to submit works to the 38th annual Scholarship & Creative Achievement listing that recognizes work between Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2025. Submissions are due this Friday, March 13. Thank you for sharing the great work

A total of 14 Warhawks were part of UWW-TV's production of the Warhawk football game against DePauw (Indiana) on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025. The game was aired live by ESPN+.

Two students represented UW-Whitewater at the 2025 Fastenal National Sales Invitational Competition, where they earned top placements among competitors from universities across the country.

Kudos to Daniel Stalder, professor of psychology, and Ari Huberty, a psychology major from Racine, who presented “Cultivating an Uncertainty Mindset Reduces the Fundamental Attribution Error” at the annual convention for the Society for Personality and Social Psychology in Chicago on Feb. 28, 2026.

Kudos to Leah Feor, assistant professor of management, who spoke about best practices for local government sustainability during “Sustainability for Municipalities: Best Practices from Wisconsin and Beyond,” a webinar presented by Forward Together Wisconsin on Feb. 2, 2026.

Join the community organization Whitewater Pride for a Safe Study at Starbucks on the second Saturday of each month during the school year from 7-9 p.m. at Starbucks, located at 1280 W. Main St. in Whitewater. One or more UW-Whitewater faculty will be on hand each session to offer free tutoring, encouraging conversations and giveaways. Dates include: March 14, April 11 and May 9.
