The Symphonic Wind Ensemble will present its Carnegie Hall program this Sunday, March 2, at 3 p.m. in The Young. On March 11, the group will once again make history as it presents its third performance in the New York City concert hall, one of the world’s most famous venues! The ensemble was the first-ever university band to perform there, and no other school has performed there more than once.

Kudos to Hairi, assistant professor of computer science, who co-authored “Byzantine-Robust Decentralized Federated Learning,” which was presented at the Association for Computing Machinery Conference on Computer and Communications Security on Oct. 14-18, 2024, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
