This prestigious awards program recognizes outstanding leadership and innovation across all spectrums of housing in Iowa. HousingIowa award nominations will be accepted through Friday, June 5, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. and must be submitted to housingiowaconf@iowafinance.com

The HousingIowa Awards recognize outstanding programs or projects based on their contributions to advancing affordable housing in Iowa in the following categories:

Multifamily Housing Development

- Single-Family Housing Development
|

Special Needs Housing Development (Homeless, housing for seniors, housing for persons with disabilities, etc.)
|
-
Innovation (Best of affordable housing design, collaborations, resources leveraged or other unique solutions that help meet an Iowa affordable housing need.)

No one captures the transformative power of housing like those who have lived it. That's why HousingIowa Award winners will shine through an inspirational firsthand account of how their project sparked a life-changing journey at the awards program on Wednesday, September 9 in Des Moines. Award nominations must include potential stories for the judges to consider. Be prepared to inspire and be inspired!
