Campus Involvement and Employment
Consider your interests and explore the clubs or organizations you could join at IUP.
How campus involvement can benefit you!
- Sharing an activity with people who enjoy the same thing is a natural way to connect with potential friends.
- Being involved with campus groups means working for a common goal and sharing successes and setbacks.
- College is a chance to reinvent yourself and try something new.
- Develop leadership experience through team projects or on-campus jobs and highlight these experiences on your résumé.
- It is never too soon to learn that everyone you meet has the potential to change your life. Create a strong network by building meaningful relationships with your peers, professors, staff, and administrators.
Do not forget to attend IUP Day on Friday, September 8, at the KCAC from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

- All students at IUP have a Navigator. This includes clock-hour, high school students taking college classes, grad, transfer, undergrad, and students at all IUP satellite locations.
- Navigators will reach out to you frequently with important resources, dates, reminders, and deadlines.
- Your Navigator is the central point of contact for you and your support network.
- Your Navigator will be with you for your entire journey each year, every semester (fall, winter, spring, summer).
- There is no question or issue that your Navigator will not assist with.
- You can meet and connect with your Navigator in a variety of ways: Zoom, in-person at various locations on and off campus, email, and text.
- Navigators will work closely with your academic advisor to ensure all of your needs are met and questions resolved.
- You can find out who your Navigator is by accessing the My IUP Portal.

Odyssey PlanAre you unsure how the next five years of your life will unfold? In life design, we encourage students to create three separate odyssey plans for their lives. These are mini-prototypes (i.e., experiments) where you can explore different and exciting possibilities for your future.
Try creating odyssey plans today to start giving some thought to what you want out of your life in the next five years. Consider work, life, play, and health goals, and don’t be afraid to think outside the box. Talk to a CPDC team member to learn more!
