In celebration of Saint Vincent de Paul, we express gratitude for the generous donation of food items to The Divine Mercy Pantry here at SVdP. Your abundant contributions will positively impact numerous individuals.

A note from the pantry: 

Wow!  What a food drive!!

The school collected 7,182 food items worth $5,373.82. Collected was: 4,283 packages of Ramon, good for 12 open pantries (6 months). 268 boxes of meal helper, good for 4 open pantries (2 months). 134 packages of dried beans good for 4 open pantries. 744 cans of tuna, good for 8 open pantries. 254 cans of chicken, good for 5 open pantries. And 321 packages of rice, good for 4 open pantries. That’s 2,878 pounds of food. We don’t have to shop for those products for awhile.

The Ambassadors who helped were triple A plus. They kept helping “What can I do!” The pantry is so blessed.

God is Good all the time, All the time God is good.

2024-2025 BASKETBALL REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Online registrations are now being accepted for the 2024-2025 SVdP basketball season for boys and girls in grades 3-8 who are registered in the SVdP Religious Education or 5-Day School programs. Registration fees are $75.00, with registration ending on October 11.

Volunteers are needed for the school health our re-screening on Tuesday, October 8th. Please consider helping with this event! Both morning and afternoon time slots are available. No screening experience is necessary, but volunteers must have completed Safe Environment Training. Please see the sign-up genius links below.

Picture Retakes - Oct. 10, 2024: 

Retakes will be on Thursday, October 10th. Students will report to their homeroom first and then sent to get their picture retaken. 

Students who missed picture day in September need to either bring their paper order form or fill order online at https://scholasticphotography.com/. 

Student who are retaking their picture must bring back their original picture packet (if they were given one) on the day of retakes. Please see the Scholastic Photography retake policy for information on extra fees for retakes. 

The School Store is now open until September 30th, with a proposed delivery date of Friday, October 11th.

After School Care Employment Opportunity: The hours for this part-time position would be Monday through Friday from 2:45 P.M.-6 P.M. during the school year August-May. The pay is $13.50 per hour. Email Diane Warneke at warneked@svdpomaha.org to apply for this position.

Parent/Teacher Conferences

Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 24. Parents of students in grades P-8 sign up for specific time slots. A live link for conference signup pages will be available in the "Click and Go"! section of the SVdP home page at 8:00 A.M.on Monday, September 30, with signups continuing through 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 22.

Preschool conferences are also available Wednesday, 10/23 from 12:30-4:00 P.M. (no afternoon preschool on this day).

Please call the school office or contact your child's teacher if you miss the online sign up.

If you are unable to attend conferences, please contact your child's homeroom teacher to make arrangements to pick up the report card. Thank you! 

Administrative Assistant Job Opening In SVdP Parish OFFICE

We are now accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant in the Parish Office. Job duties include interacting with parishioners and visitors in person, receiving phone calls, and completing clerical and data entry responsibilities. Candidate should be proficient in Word, Excel, database, and email programs. This is a 12-month position, 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday (8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.).
