| Gregory Maqoma, a South African choreographer, creates Broken Chord, a unique work that explores past and present issues of borders, migration, and identity. The piece, featuring four soloists and an onstage a cappella chorus, tells the story of a South African chorus impacted by racism during its 19th-century tour.

MáM combines classical and traditional elements, highlighting the potential for life's polarities to come together and find resolution.
