2025-2026 Preschool New Parent Meeting
We will have a Preschool New Parent meeting on Monday October 21st at 6:30 P.M. in the Media Center for families interested in the 2025-2026 Preschool program. This is an informational meeting for new parents. Families with children currently in the Preschool program are always welcome but are not required to attend. Preschool registration for the 25-26 school year will begin on October 22nd on our school website www.svdp-school.org. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Barbara Marchese or Courtney Eden in the school office at 402-492-2111 or edenc@svdpomaha.org.

Parent/Teacher Conferences
Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Thursday, October 24. Parents of students in grades P-8 sign up for specific time slots. A live link for conference signup page is available now on the "Click and Go"! section of the SVdP home page. Signups continue through 3:30 P.M. on Tuesday, October 22.
Preschool conferences are also available Wednesday, October 23, from 12:30-4:00 P.M. (no afternoon preschool on this day).
Please call the school office or contact your child's teacher if you miss the online signup.
If you are unable to attend conferences, please contact your child's homeroom teacher to make arrangements to pick up the report card. Thank you!

St. Vincent de Paul School fundraiser starts today, and we need your help. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 for outdoor seating near the playground.

The SVdP Book Fair will be open November 4, 6, 7 and 8. Proceeds from the Book Fair fund our library for the year. We will also be donating books to the St. Augustine Mission School in Winnebago, Nebraska. Thanks to everyone who supports our Book Fair! Volunteers are still needed to staff the Book Fair.

The SVdP cross county team had their final meet of the year last weekend, October 12th, at Walnut Creek at Papillion-La Vista South high school.
Tatum Houghton earned 13th place overall. She is the first SVdP runner to place in the top 25 at the state meet.
The boys team placed 28th. Runners were: Ian Baker, Nolan Cheney, Charlie Dietz, Evan Glow, Conor Langenfeld, Brayden Miller, and Isaac Weiland.

Grandparents’ and Special Friend Day is right around the corner! On Friday, November 8th, we will be hosting the 3rd, 4th & 5th grade students and their Grandparents or Special Guests. Each child will be allowed to bring up to two guests. It will begin with mass at 8:45am, followed by Bingo and Refreshments in Kampschneider Hall and Hanneman Hall.

After School Care Employment Opportunity: The hours for this part-time position would be Monday through Friday from 2:45 P.M.-6 P.M. during the school year August-May. The pay is $13.50 per hour. Email Diane Warneke at warneked@svdpomaha.org to apply for this position.
