Maseeh College partnered with Portland Public Schools to host their annual Career Technical Education Day for high school students in the Career and Technical Education pathway. Over 100 high school students attended the event, which included a professional engineers panel (special thanks to Raúl Bayoán Cal (MME) for participating) and hands-on activities led by the Maseeh Ambassadors and Rosemary Fama, (Academic Services & Retention Administrator), Oregon MESA, and Portland Metro STEM Partnership. Feedback from attendees was enthusiastic, with many stating that they learned something new that day, were motivated and inspired to pursue a career in STEM, and would consider attending PSU in the future. Thanks to the Agile and Adaptive Robotics Lab, Geotech Lab, and PSAS for hosting tour stops to round out this action-packed day.
