| Final Adult Formation class |
This Sunday, May 18, we’ll conclude our “Loving Our Neighbors” adult formation series with a special conversation featuring two staff members from STARS (Students Taking a Right Stand), an organization providing vital support to students and schools across Nashville. Aiesha Walker, Senior Program Manager, and Erin Lennon, the STARS Mental Health Counselor at Head Middle Magnet, will join us to share their work and insight. The discussion will be moderated by St. B’s parishioner and STARS CEO, Rodger Dinwiddie. We’re especially excited to introduce Erin Lennon as the liaison for our growing partnership with Head Middle Magnet!
As we wrap up this series, we’re inviting parishioners to consider how they might get involved in supporting Head Middle. If you’ve felt a tug to help but haven’t signed up yet, it’s not too late! Opportunities include volunteering at the “Tiger Transition” orientation, helping with literacy programs, speaking during career week, chaperoning field trips or dances, providing laundry assistance, supporting holiday and appreciation events for teachers, and more.
If you're interested, please email Leslie McGilberry to get connected. Let’s continue living into our call to love our neighbors well!

🍲 If you are able, please support Emily and Casey Stanley as they've welcomed baby number four! With an extended hospital stay, a meal will go a long way in making this transition a little easier. There are two adults and three kids to feed, and while they don’t have any dietary restrictions, they love takeout from Chipotle! Click here to sign up.

Join the Fellowship Committee
|
🎈 The Fellowship Committee is gearing up for our annual Pentecost Celebration on Saturday, June 8, and we need your help to make it a success! We’re looking for volunteers to assist with set-up and clean-up in the gym, including putting out and taking down tables, chairs, and games. We’ll also be serving strawberries and cream along with a delicious spread of “red” baked treats in honor of the day. If you’re able to lend a hand or bring a treat to share, please contact Nancy Coleman at nancy2@comcast.net. A SignupGenius will be available soon—stay tuned for more details.

For the brave souls who wake each morning at the crack of dawn to educate other people’s children and love them like their own. It’s a tough job, God, please keep them from growing weary and cynical. Wrap them in your love, your peace, your wisdom, and your goodness. Help them to see the many ways that their gifts inspire learning, creativity, and compassion. And, please make sure they get enough good coffee, chocolate, and support from parents and administrators to keep going. Amen.
