UCO Soccer Hosts First Round of MIAA Championship

On the heels of a 5-0 win against Newman, the UCO Soccer team secured the fourth seed in the MIAA Women's Soccer Championship. The Bronchos will host Northeastern State at 1 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10, for the quarterfinal match at Chad Richison Stadium. The move from Tom Thompson Field is due to recent excessive rainfall.

UCO finished the 2024 regular season 10-5-3 with a 7-2-3 record in the MIAA.

UCO Men's Basketball Opens Season at Home

UCO Men's Basketball will open the 2024-25 season Friday night at Hamilton Field House with the first of two games in the Central Region Challenge.

UCO will host the University of Mary from Bismarck, North Dakota, at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 8, and Northwestern Oklahoma State at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9.

2024 WinterGlow Office Decorating Contest

As a part of UCO's annual WinterGlow event, the Office of Student Engagement will host an office decorating contest. Offices across campus are encouraged to decorate their space to celebrate the holiday season inspired by this year's theme, “Central Station." Applications for the competition close at 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22, and judging will be Monday, Dec. 2.

UCO Football Eyes End of Season

UCO Football will play their final away game of the season at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 9, at Washburn in Topeka, Kansas. The game will be televised locally on KOCB34, as well as in Kansas.

The Bronchos return home Saturday, Nov. 16, to close out the regular season against Emporia State. This will also be the Military Appreciation Game and Senior Day.

 

UCO Wellness Center Happy Hours

The UCO Department of Wellness and Sport will host the following events as next week's Faculty and Staff (Wellness) Happy Hours:

4-5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 12 - Big Volleyball
4-5 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 - Intro to Weights
4-5 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 14 - Pickleball
