E-Waste Drop-Off Event

Tuesday, March 3 | 1-2 p.m.

Have college-owned e-waste to get rid of? Bring it to the e-waste drop-off event for proper electronic waste recycling at Breton Hall Garage #8. 

 
Deadlines
PIFP Deadline is Friday, March 6, 5 p.m.

The Public Interest Fellowship Program (PIFP) offers paid summer and year-long post-grad fellowships only available to CC students. Students can make an impact in their community, test their interest in the social sector, and gain essential workplace skills working in Colorado Nonprofits. Refer students to the PIFP website and Fellowship details in Handshake. Students can submit an application for all fellowships of interest.

 
Calls to Action
Professional Clothing Drive

Have professional and business-casual clothing laying around that you don’t need anymore? Donate them so they can be used by current students. We accept suits, blouses, button-downs, dress pants, dresses, skirts, ties, and lightly used shoes. You can drop off donations in the green carts until Friday, Feb. 20.

- Worner 1st Floor (near the desk)
- Armstrong Hall 1st Floor (near the theatre)
- Office of Sustainability 1st Floor  

Data Viz Night Save the Date

Join the State of the Rockies for Data Viz Night on Thursday, Apr. 9, from 6-8:30 p.m. in Cornerstone Art Center, featuring a film premiere, interactive GIS mapping, and student poster contest winners. Enjoy an engaging evening of visuals, data, and student creativity, complete with food and drinks in a semi‑formal setting. Additional event details will be announced on Monday, March 9, so stay tuned. 

Sense of Place: Farm to Fork Tour Block Break 7

Faculty and staff are invited to join the Office of Sustainability’s Sense of Place Farm to Fork Tour in partnership with Bon Appétit, taking place April 15-17 during Block Break 7. This tour provides an inside look at how our campus food system operates from local production and process to meal preparation and service. Participants will visit regional farms, meet local producers, and enjoy meals crafted with thoughtfully sourced ingredients. The tour offers valuable insight into sustainability practices, local food economies, and food justice.
