Dear Colorado College Community, |
|
|
As we wrap the Fall semester and head into Winter Break, I'm pleased to share the 2024-25 Colorado College Annual Report: a reflection of our collective work in the prior academic year, a celebration of the talents and passions of our students, and a testament to what we can accomplish together.
Students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and families: I’m grateful for all you have invested in this community over the past year and all you will bring to the next phase in CC’s journey. The Winter Break offers a natural moment of pause, where we can honor what we’ve achieved while anticipating what lies ahead.

The 2024-25 academic year showcased the breadth and depth of what happens at Colorado College:
|
- Faculty and staff managed 29 different research awards totaling $3.4 million in funding
- 111 students conducted original research alongside faculty through the Student Collaborative Research (SCoRE) program
- 599 students studied abroad in 55 countries and 6 U.S. states
-
CC partnered with more than 210 community organizations, and 60 percent of students participated in community-based work
- Tiger student-athletes achieved six conference championships, and 91% were named conference All-Academic
- Nearly a quarter of the student body attended an Arts & Crafts workshop, and 84 students completed independent arts projects
-
1,000+ students contributed to over 100 registered student clubs and organizations

The complete report offers more detailed metrics and milestones—evidence of our coordinated effort across divisions to drive the institution forward.
|
My vision for CC is that we will claim our space in higher education. We will lean into what makes us distinctive and ensure the world sees the impact of the College and its graduates.
I believe in our ability to achieve this. Our strengths are clear: the Block Plan facilitates immersive learning in and beyond the classroom, our location at the base of the Rockies shapes how we learn and who we become, and our campus environment encourages students to be fully themselves rather than trying to fit a norm. The ambitious goals we've set are achievable because of who we are collectively.
|
Thank you for your investment in Colorado College's mission. Whether you teach, learn, work, give, or advocate on behalf of this institution, you're part of something larger: a community dedicated to preparing the next generation to live lives of consequence.
As we move into the season of renewal, may we all find moments of genuine connection and recommit to our sense of purpose.
I invite you to peruse the full Annual Report, and as you do, I hope you feel the same sense of pride for CC that I do every day.
|
With gratitude and warm wishes for the season,
|
