Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff, |

Across the country, higher education is facing new and complex challenges. Among them: federal lawmakers are considering policy changes that could have a significant financial impact on colleges and universities across the country — and small, private institutions like CC could be disproportionately affected.
In true CC spirit, we are approaching this moment with clarity, resolve, and a deep belief in the strength of our community.
You're invited to tune in Tuesday, May 13, at 5 p.m. MT, to: Our CC — Safeguarding the CC Experience, a webinar with college leadership, to hear about our current position in the higher education landscape and our approach to the challenges ahead. In part, the webinar is designed to galvanize our nationwide network of alumni, parents, and families with connections in D.C. to join our advocacy efforts — to address the potential increased federal tax on endowment earnings, and to stand against potential cuts to federal financial aid, research, and student internship funding.
Hear from:
|
- Manya Whitaker, Interim President
- Jeff Keller '91, P'23, Colorado College Board of Trustees Chair
- Kyle Samuel '92, Incoming Colorado College Board of Trustees Chair
- Lori Seager, Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer
- Jen Hoglin '91, Alumni Association Council President and CC Trustee

For those who are unable to join live, a recording of the webinar will be available. Watch for a follow-up email next week with the recording and additional details.
This is a pivotal moment. Join us to learn how we are working with our connected community to ensure the CC experience remains accessible and vibrant for generations to come.
With gratitude,
