Sense of Place: Farm to Fork Tour During Block Break 7

Join the Office of Sustainability’s new Sense of Place Farm to Fork Tour in partnership with Bon Appétit during Block Break 7. Explore the journey your food takes from local farms to your plate. This immersive and educational experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at the food system—from production and processing to preparation and consumption—all rooted in our local community. Along the way, you'll visit sustainable farms, meet local producers, enjoy fresh, thoughtfully prepared meals, and deepen your understanding of sustainability, local economies, and food justice. Sign up before Wednesday, April 8.

Get .25 Credits for Your Summer Work

Does your summer internship require credit? Would .25 units for an experiential opportunity help you catch up on credits? Sign-up for the General Studies(GS): Internship Adjunct. The GS: Internship Adjunct provides students with a significant learning experience outside the classroom setting. The internship represents an educational strategy that links classroom learning with the application of knowledge in an applied work setting. Email Andrea Culp at aculp@coloradocollege.edu in the Career Center to be added to the Canvas course to learn more about assignments and expectations. You must start the process before your internship begins.

Need funding for a community project? The CCE Microgrants for Community Impact provides up to $1000 in funding to support CC students in their community service initiatives with the Colorado Springs and El Paso County communities. Learn more and apply today.

Every year, graduating seniors from some of our civic leadership programs present their Presentations of Learning to reflect on their community engaged experiences and Capstone projects in a conference style event on the 2nd floor of the Tutt Library. The first half hour includes a poster gallery walk session presented by our graduating Community Engaged Scholars. Here’s a sneak peak of this year’s presentation schedule.
