Stevens Institute of Technology will be closed beginning on Monday, December 22 and will reopen on Monday, January 5. If students wish to meet with their academic advisor during the month of January via Zoom, please make an appointment here or reach out via email.
The CEOE Center for Student Success wishes you the best of luck in your final exams. Have a wonderful break and holiday season. Please be sure to monitor your campus email throughout break, as important updates regarding courses, schedules, scholarships, events and more will continue to be sent.

The Moles, a heavy construction industry professional society, is collecting resumes for their internship portal. Students may submit their resume, cover letter and letters of recommendations here. Companies associated with the Moles will then be able to review applications and contact applicants, as desired.

Scholarship Opportunities |
|
|
SMART scholars, through the Department of Defense (DoD), offers scholarships for undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students currently pursuing a degree in one of the 24 STEM disciplines. SMART scholars receive full tuition, annual stipends, and guaranteed employment with the DoD after graduation. The scholarship is due December 15. Additional information is available here.

The American Society of Highway Engineers North Central New Jersey Section Scholarship |
The American Society of Highway Engineers North Central New Jersey Section Annual Scholarship is dedicated to supporting the academic and professional aspirations of students. The application is available here and closes December 5, 2025. Over the last two years, CEOE students have won the first, second, and third place scholarships.

The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Research Institute Scholarship |
ACEC Research Internship has created a portal with a list of scholarships available to engineering students. Deadlines range from January to March 2026. Students can view the scholarships here and register to apply.

The American Council of Engineering Companies in New Jersey (ACECNJ) Scholarships |
The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ) awards up to seven scholarships each year to students, attending an ABET accredited engineering program in New Jersey, who intend to become consulting engineers. Over the past number of years, numerous CEOE students have received this scholarship. The deadline to apply is February 6, 2026.

The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey: PEC Scholarship |
The Professional Engineers in Construction of New Jersey is pleasured to announce that they will present the 2025-2026 Sol Seid Award for Excellence to a junior civil engineering student. The award will have a value of $15,000 to be paid to the student.
They will select the awardee(s) from the nominees submitted by each of the seven Universities in New Jersey offering civil engineering degrees.
The Professional Engineers in Construction Student Awards Committee will consider academic excellence, extracurricular activities, work experience, an ability to express ideas, an interest in career opportunities in the construction industry, and the pursue of a licensure as a PE in making the final determination of the recipient.
