We’re seeing so much happen in the lives of the students we meet! Our senior class is approaching graduation - they have been organizing, inviting, and sharing Young Life events with their friends. Even the youngest students in WyldLife are surprising us in not only connecting with leaders and the Club talk, but even going deeper with middle school Campaigners!

In the dark cold nights of January & February, our Club attendance tends to lower…and our leaders are faced with the reality that deep relationships are more powerful and meaningful than simply having high attendance numbers. Having consistent groups attend Club and connect through Contact Work, we spent winter weeks going deep and building solid foundations with our regular students - a gift that is bearing fruit in several ways, including a group of students excited to attend a Campaigners (Discipleship) Weekend at Castaway this spring. 

We are grateful for the ways that God continues to teach and guide us as we walk alongside students in every season! And we thank you for your prayers and support as we meet, connect with, and love students in this community.

Every summer we take kids to Young Life camp where they find undistracted community with their peers and caring adults - to be known, and to simply be kids. The atmosphere is intentional for students to feel a belonging, and where leaders can share the gospel message in simple, clear ways to students right where they’re at. And of course there’s a crazy TON amount of fun throughout it all!

9th - 12th grade: JULY 29 - AUG 5 (Clearwater Cove)

6th - 8th grade: JULY 30 - AUG 3 (Castaway Club)

For both high schoolers and middle schoolers, it’s camp fundraising season and we’re excited to invite you on board! 

Camp fees are hefty, but each year we are amazed by the support of our community as kids raise money in order to experience one of the best weeks of their lives. Our yearly camp fundraiser is "Operation Clean Up." Students look for people to sponsor them as they clean parks in Cloquet and the surrounding area. We have two cleaning dates on the calendar, and students are ready to start calling potential sponsors to include them in this opportunity!

 Above: An awesome afternoon of sledding and boot hockey! Wyldlife has been keeping busy with Sunday afternoon Club and Campaigners - plus a few extra events like Adventure Zone and Saturday afternoon fun at Pinehurst! Middle schoolers need healthy and safe places to connect with each other and caring adults as they are growing and making their way in the world.

We have a great team of hilarious adult leaders and high school helpers that the kids all look up to. We have a blast each time we all get together - YOUR middle schooler is invited!! Open to all 5th - 8th graders.

A Young Life Prom wasn’t exactly in our plans…but our senior class has been talking about it for a couple years, and wow did they make it happen! With leaders working alongside them, these students from different schools put together an amazing evening!

FOOD PACKING

How long does it take to pack up half a ton of vegetables for households in need? Well, long enough to get a little chilly for sure, but nothing could stop these students from following through on their commitment to complete a service project this semester! Students learned more about a community facing severe poverty and tangible needs, loaded up hundreds of bags of produce for households, and offered prayers over facilities used by people in need. 

We’re so proud of these students for taking initiative and taking an opportunity to serve and learn!

POINTS UPDATE - Spring is flying by! The Points are gearing up for the end of the school year, and then will be serving on a summer assignment at Castaway July 5th - 24th. Our kids love getting to live at camp - pray that it will be a fruitful and joyful season for our family as Brian serves as a head leader!

Paisley has been enjoying getting to be a part of Wyldlife - she has been waiting a long time for this! She's also excited to be attending camp as a CAMPER for the first time this summer. Neva is very into gymnastics right now, and Benny is turning 6 in just a few short weeks! As always, we are so thankful for your prayers and support of our family and ministry!
