Saving Lives in Sacramento

The Sacramento State Police Department has continued to demonstrate their unwavering commitment to our campus and the Sacramento community as a whole. We would like to acknowledge Officer Keith Driffin, Sergeant Emily Kelly, and Corporal Nathan Rice for their bravery and dedication. This summer, the Sacramento State Police Department will host a ceremony to honor Officer Keith Driffin and Sergeant Emily Kelly with the Lifesaving Medal, and Corporal Nathan Rice will receive the Medal of Valor.

This year’s annual event theme was simply SUMMER!

The Summer Social has become an ABA tradition, providing a much-needed break from the office. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, enthusiastic participants in our Summer Social activities, and all ABA members for making this event a success!

This year, approximately 20-30 students came out during their spring break to spend time helping build new compost stalls and benches at the BAC Yard.

The latest on solar arrays installed at parking structures 3 and 5 contributed significantly to reducing campus emissions.

Embracing and uplifting voices of Black history, this year’s CSU Juneteenth Symposium, hosted by Sacramento State, took place at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center on June 13th and 14th - celebrating resilience, heritage, and progress.
