If you’re a physician at Swedish, Overlake, EvergreenHealth, MultiCare, or another regional health system, your KCMS dues can likely be reimbursed through CME or professional development funds. Please let your leadership team know that group membership rates are available. Your leadership matters, and you belong at the table where healthcare policy is shaped.

Join the 2025 KCMS Delegate Council
Light Commitment. Strong Voice. Real Impact.

The KCMS Delegate Council is your opportunity to help shape the future of medicine in Washington. As a Delegate, you’ll work alongside fellow physicians to identify critical issues, craft thoughtful policy solutions, and advocate directly to local and state leaders.

You don’t need any prior experience—just a passion for improving healthcare and a willingness to share your perspective.
What’s Involved?
Three Zoom meetings (May–August, all optional, with opportunities to meet in person)
Propose a resolution on an issue in medicine—or support others in shaping theirs
Collaborate with fellow King County physicians on KCMS advocacy priorities
✅ -Optional - Help present KCMS resolutions at the WSMA meeting in late September

Whether or not a resolution is adopted, our dedicated lobbyist, James Paribello, continues to advocate for it in Olympia during the legislative session
