Dear ILI Community,
It is our great pleasure to announce that Professor John Duffy will be transitioning into the leadership role of the Inspired Leadership Initiative (ILI), formally taking the reins on July 1. John is excited to take on this role and has been working closely with the Founding Director, Tom Schreier, and the Co-Founding Director, Chris Stevens, as well as the rest of the ILI Leadership Team, during this past year. We are confident that John is ready to lead the ILI with full support from us, Tom, Chris, the Provost’s Office, and all who have so ably created and led Notre Dame’s commitment to this new area of higher education.
We want to personally thank Tom and Chris, who created a distinctive vision for the ILI in close collaboration with many of our faculty, and brought it to life in 2016 with the first of six cohorts of accomplished individuals. ILI Fellows desire to come to this great University to discover, discern, and design their next act. The Fellows not only grow individually while here, but they also contribute to Notre Dame in distinctive ways. They enrich the communities they return to as they emerge as a force for good in all they do.
