When a bone density scan in December 2022 showed early signs of osteopenia, Nancy decided to take charge of her health with supplements and exercise. She knew weight training was the missing piece and in October 2025, she found Active Wellness Center at Kruse Woods and got to work.
The effort paid off. After just under a year of consistent weight training, her latest bone density test showed no regression and her doctor encouraged her to keep up her routine. She’s staying the course and hopes her next scan will show real improvement.
“I recommend anyone with bone density concerns give weight training a try,” Nancy says. Her favorite way to do it: the EGYM machines, which help her train smart by keeping reps and weights in a safe and effective range. Way to go, Nancy!
