What happens when you mix four colors of slime, 12 cans of shaving cream, an 18-pack of raw eggs, and a 45 degree evening with a group of high school students and their leaders? Pictures do it better justice!

Though the teens didn’t know it, their leaders had been prepping and praying for this evening for weeks, as the last big, fun, messy fun Club night of the year - what an opportunity to talk about having value in the mess of life! For some kids, it was their first time back to Club for awhile, for some it’s the highlight of the Young Life year, and for some it was their very last Club before graduation. For all of you who support us in many ways, it is an example of leaders stepping into the mess with kids, meeting them where they’re at, and making amazing memories all the while.
A 12th grade graduate that we’ve known since middle school recently said, “The most meaningful thing about Young Life? It’s the leaders, truly every single leader has had an impact on my life and who I am as a person. Through my time at Young Life, I’ve come to a better understanding that God loves me, all the time - I don’t have to “earn” it. And though pain is hard, we aren’t alone in it”
Help us keep this up: Young Life and WyldLife programs would not exist without support from our community - YOU!

Walking with Kids from 5th-12th Grade |
During the school year we host regular Club nights and Campaigners small groups, then every summer we head to Camp (see below) - but that’s not all! All summer we continue to check-in with students, whether over coffee, hosting bonfire & game nights, playing water wars, or heading to Valley Fair.
If you have any students grades 5-12 in your sphere who would love to connect with some fun activities and leaders who care, send us a message and we’ll send our summer schedule! Or, check out our Link Tree!
And now directly from our program directors: Tell us some highlights from this past school year!

Katie Feilen | Area Director, Young Life | 9-12th | kfeilen@gmail.com - “This year, nine dedicated volunteer leaders stepped into the lives of high school students in meaningful ways. They cheered from the stands at games, showed up at school events, shared conversations over coffee and burgers, went on walks, hosted small groups, watched movies, and answered phone calls long after the day was over. Time and time again, these leaders chose to show up. Their investment is helping students understand a powerful truth: they matter, they are seen, and they are deeply loved."
Liz Points | WyldLife | 5-8th | lizmpoints@gmail.com - “One of my favorite parts of WyldLife this year was getting to dive deeper in Campaigners with kids. More than 15 middle schoolers were involved with some type of small group this year. Dedicated WL leaders took the time to provide safe spaces for students to connect and grow in faith, take on leadership opportunities, and first time Bibles. We are excited for the spread of impact this will have on our schools and communities. As students grow in faith and leadership, the steadfast hope they cling to will shine to the people around them!"

THE BEST WEEK OF THEIR LIVES |
We say this all the time to students: “Summer Camp will be the best week of your life!” But what does that mean? It’s time to invite young people to experience a camp designed just for them - no phones, caring and trusted adults, incredibly fun adventurous activities, delicious family-style meals, all as the backdrop for the gospel message to be proclaimed and displayed in simple, clear ways throughout the week.
In the coming weeks we’ll bring a high school trip and a middle-school trip both to the beautiful Castaway Club - please keep these students in prayer!
We still have some students working on raising the remainder of their camp funds! If you would like to give a special gift and help a kid get to camp, click here or contact Katie Feilen at kfeilen.yl@gmail.com.

This spring was packed with all the excitement of student life—choir concerts, playoff games, theater, senior celebrations, and so much more. When I stepped into this role, I never anticipated how difficult it would be to send our seniors off. The relationships that have been built over this past year are ones I will always treasure. I am incredibly proud of our seniors and excited to see where life takes them next knowing their life has purpose and they are deeply loved by the most high King.
I continue to immerse myself in the Cloquet community and have had the joy of meeting some of the kindest people along the way.

I had the chance to bring my mom to one of my favorite local spots, Gordy’s Hi-Hat! I even learned how to clean a chicken coop! As summer begins, I’m looking forward to all that God has in store and to continuing to invest in this community.
Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your support and prayers. Your partnership means more than I can express, and I carry that gratitude with me every day. If you ever find yourself passing through the area, please let me know—I would love to see you!
