Acknowledging Today’s Exercise and Supporting Our Community

Today, CC conducted an emergency exercise and completed a test of the RAVE notification system.

We recognize that each of us brings unique life experiences to our community, and that today’s drill and notification may have felt different for everyone. If this exercise impacted you personally, please know that support is available. The following resources are here for you:

Students

  • The Counseling Center will have drop-in appointments available this afternoon. Please call (719) 389-6093
  • TimelyCare 24/7 access to virtual care, self-care, and well-being tools. You will need to register for this service using your CC information.

Faculty and Staff

Purpose of the Drill:

  • Primary objective: Build muscle memory and practice actions for various emergency situations.
  • Secondary objective: Validate procedures, clarify roles, and identify areas for improvement.
