NEW CLASS! CORE MUSCLE STRENGTH
Tuesdays at 8am Starting 8/8

This workout will utilize barbells, dumbbells, resistance bands and body weight to strengthen all the major muscle groups. You will perform dynamic and isolated movements and finish with a strong emphasis on core strength.

SPECIAL CLASS: YOGA RESTORE
Wednesday, 8/30 at 7pm-8pm

A special evening practice of gentle stretching and yoga postures to release tension and stress. Wrapping up with a deep relaxation and peaceful meditation to end your day with a refreshed mind and body.

Andrew Moore
Andrew has practiced yoga for many years, and decided to become a teacher to share the positive benefits he himself felt. With every class Andrew teaches, He is reminded that yoga can help everyone have a happier, healthier mind and body.

Andrew teaches the Ananda-style yoga, which brings Hatha yoga back to its original spiritual essence. Exercise and stress relief are only the beginning; the higher purpose of an Ananda-style yoga practice is to uplift your consciousness, working not only with your body but also with Pranayama (breathing and energy-control techniques), yogic meditation techniques, and yoga philosophy. What makes Ananda-style yoga unique is that each posture is paired with its own affirmation, which is repeated silently while in the posture.

Andrew is currently in Pilates teacher training. He plans to integrate the many beneficial concepts, principles, and techniques of Pilates with the Ananda-style yoga teaching. Andrew brings a quiet, calming strength to every class that he instructs.

INTRO TO PILATES: 3-WEEK SERIES
Starting Friday, 8/11

This introductory series will show you the benefits of the Pilates Reformer. Engage, strengthen and stretch your body from the core out. You will leave each session feeling strong and revitalized.
Active Members: $90 Non-Members: $135

Fri. 8/11, 11am-12pm: Learn the building blocks of Pilates Reformer: footwork supine arm/core work and feet in straps.
Fri. 8/18, 11am-12pm: Begin to sample how you can work the total body utilizing the box as an accessory to the Reformer.
Fri. 8/25, 11am-12pm: Put it all together, as well as try out another accessory that is guaranteed to make your heart happy: the jumpboard.

You will get individual attention with each group limited to six people. You must commit to one class each week for the entire three week series. There will be no make-up sessions. Sign up now, space is limited to six.

The Rock Steady Boxers aren't taking a summer break! They are hard at it in the fight against Parkinson's.

IN MEMORY OF JAMES (JIM) SCHULL

Our Rock Steady Boxing crew lost another Fighter and most importantly, a friend.

Jim was always up for having fun in the Rock Steady Boxing class. Even if Jim didn’t feel up to working out that day, he would come and cheer everyone else on. Jim was the type of person that a friend could lean on. Jim will be greatly missed by his Crew and Coaches.
