Private Prison Tour
To Be Held At Eight Ohio State Prisons Throughout Summer 2024
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 11, 2024) – Impact Records flagship recording artist, and one of country music’s most exciting newcomers, Tyler Conti, has announced his participation in the 2024 Rock The Yard concert series. Joining his independent record label, in partnership with the Cleveland-based non-profit True Freedom Ministries, Conti and his team will launch the Rock The Yard concert series in mid-June.

The announcement and formalization of the tour follows the hit songwriter’s inaugural prison concert held in Grafton, Ohio in March, and is significant to his personal focus and commitment to convey messages of hope and inspiration through his music—to make a positive impact. Sponsored by Impact Records’ sister company TMG Companies and its Cares Foundation, the Rock The Yard summer tour will be held at eight Ohio state prisons located in Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Dayton.

“Music is a connection; music can be spiritual and has a powerful way of moving listeners in heart, body and soul - no matter life’s circumstance,” Conti said. “I feel like the first visit to the prison in Grafton made as much impact on me as it did the inmates. I could feel the energy in the air that the music brought to lift their spirits, and seeing their reactions…feeling that energy…was extremely gratifying. I’m hoping to continue to bring that kind of powerful music to the inmates to offer them good spirit, and a reason to feel uplifted…to feel hopeful. This tour is meaningful for me.”

Conti’s musical storylines are much like chapters of his life, weaving highs and lows, threaded by a message of hope, into relatable musical conversations. Having struggled with addiction and recovery in his mid-twenties, he turned the page to commit himself to sobriety, healing, and devoting his faith to the Lord. His inaugural acoustic performance, and personally inspiring experience, at the prison in Grafton, OH earlier this year moved him to explore expanding the tour beyond a one-time event and an endeavor fully supported by his label.

“We hosted our first prison performance in Grafton earlier this year, and personally experienced the impact on the inmates and their family members,” introduced Impact Records label President Judd Mintz. “The gratifying experience moved us to support Tyler, who’s willing to donate his time, and create a tour to serve the same purpose. We hope, after each prison visit, to leave behind some hope, redemption, and the desire to reach out to God for guidance and comfort.”

“Having supported the mission of True Freedom Ministries for many years, we know first-hand the impact the ministry has had on the lives of those in prison. Partnering with the non-profit to support the 2024 Rock The Yard concert series will allow us to take this impact to a higher level and hopefully inspire others to live out Hebrews 13:3 – 'continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison’,” added Damon Mintz, TMG Cares and TMG Entertainment/Impact Records Chairman & CEO.

A newcomer to the country music format but no stranger to the recording and LIVE performance scene, Tyler Conti made his mark early in his career as a songwriter scoring number-one hits with songs recorded by Charlie Wilson (“One I Got”/“No Stoppin’ Us”) and Smokey Robinson (“All Of My Love”). He’s toured with Michael Buble’ and Josh Groban, performing on stages in England, France, Canada and Spain. His debut single, “Everything Between” (released under the Impact Records imprint in April 2024) has garnered more than 110,000 Spotify streams to date.

Tyler Conti is a faith-driven, down-to-earth, family man that cultivated a successful career as a sought-after songwriter and captivating entertainer early on.
The Portland, Oregon native joined forces with twin brother, Taylor, in his mid-twenties. The combined extraordinary talents of The Conti Brothers caught the attention of famed, Grammy award-winning music producer and hit songwriter, David Foster (Chicago, Kenny Rogers, Celine Dion, Toni Braxton Neil Young) who signed the duo to his 143 Records imprint (an independent boutique label under the Warner Bros. umbrella) in 2002. While the working relationship skyrocketed the siblings’ professional careers, Tyler ultimately departed the label in 2005 with a concentration to pursue a solo endeavor.

The talented songwriter, Tyler Conti, was quick to make his mark. He scored No. 1 hits with songs recorded by Charlie Wilson (“One I Got” and “No Stoppin’ Us”) and Smokey Robinson ( “All Of My Love”);  he toured with labelmates Michael Buble’ and Josh Groban performing on stages in England, France, Canada and Spain. Conti made official introductions with his album, DREAMING, in 2010, and released two singles “Come And Go” and “No More Room” in 2012.
Conti reset his course as fitting, in both character and cadence. He signed a solo deal with Impact Records in October 2023 and has spent the last several months traveling between his home state and Music City, Nashville to write and record a country music project (featuring tracks such as  “Take The Country,” “Lonely Road,”  “Love From A Son,” and “Grandma’s House In The Woods”). Conti is slated to roll out the recordings in a waterfall series throughout 2024.

Formed in 2023 under the TMG Entertainment umbrella by brothers Judd and Damon Mintz (25-year business professionals with backgrounds in finance, film, and music entertainment), Impact Records is made up of a team of music industry professionals with a similar passion and dedication to introduce world-class talent and music that makes a difference. With “Faith, Family and Freedom” as the core mantra, the family-oriented team members and its roster of artists, with similar character and goals, collectively share the “Will To Win!” (Wisdom• Integrity & Influence • Leaders • Love)

The label’s two-fold objective is to convey life-like stories with messages of hope and inspiration, enlivened by high-quality music production that will make a positive impact; and to help its artists realize his/her maximum creative potential as a career artist notable for making a lasting impact on listeners across the globe.
Impact Records is based in Akron Ohio with a recording studio presence in Nashville, TN.
