A generous gift from an anonymous donor has launched the Baker Family Whitman Experience Fund, which will help students access activities like the Outdoor Program, sorority and fraternity life, intramural sports, field trips and more.

Whitman College hosted the First Foods Festival on Nov. 9. The event offered activities and education about the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation and their exciting initiatives for environmental stewardship.

Three decades after its first screening at Whitman, “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” is still a campus favorite—with each new generation adding their take on the cult classic.

It's time for Whitman's annual networking event, Whitties Helping Whitties, in Seattle, Bellevue, Portland and San Francisco! Come meet students and fellow alumni to share your post-graduate journey, recruit or learn more about your professional interests.

As a Whitman undergraduate, Laura Sanchez ’07 found a passion for chemistry that was nurtured through hands-on research experience and one-on-one interactions with faculty. Today, she runs her own research lab at UC Santa Cruz. See her path.

Senior forward Korin Baker was named U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Division III National Player of the Week. Scoring 31 points in an 18 minute period and averaging 26.5 points over two games, she was sequentially named the Northwest Conference Player of the Week.

Whitman's flagship field program, Semester in the West, returned from their months-long journey exploring and learning in the American West. Throughout their expedition, they shared their stories online and most recently, on campus.
