Flashback: The Clash at Clark 🎸
On September 28, 1979, The Clash launched their U.S. Take the Fifth tour right here at Clark in the Student Activities Center.
The crowd got a first listen to soon-to-be classics like “London Calling”, performed months before the album dropped. It was loud, packed, and unforgettable.
Got a memory from that night? Reply to this email or send it to uacomms@clarku.edu to be featured in an upcoming newsletter! 📩
