I can't believe this semester is nearly over! With it, we say goodbye and congratulations to many of our Bobcats. For those graduating next week, remember that your connection to OHIO doesn't end here — you are forever a Bobcat. Stay engaged through the Bobcat Network, connect with fellow alumni, and consider giving back by mentoring new students through programs like Bobcat Buddies. We look forward to seeing you back on the bricks soon!
To all of our students, good luck preparing for finals week. I'll leave you with one more reminder of all the academic resources to support your success. Remember to take care of yourself during this busy time too. Talk with a counselor or take some time to relax and recover.
Even after the semester ends, we are here to support you, and we work closely with our Athens community partners too. The resources to help students in crisis expand well beyond our campus. Anyone, regardless of if they are a student here, is always able to call or text 988 for 24/7 confidential, free help.
I am forever grateful to get to work with all of you each and every day. Good luck with finals, and enjoy your summer!

Are you staying in Athens after this semester ends? There is plenty to do, and summer is a great time to get involved in our community.
Keep an eye on the Athens County Events Calendar- from live music at Nelsonville Music Festival to discovering birding at Birds in the Hills to getting your shopping done at the Athens Farmers Market each weekend, there is always something happening. Many of these events have volunteer opportunities for entry at a reduced cost too.
Getting around is no problem over the summer- catch a ride on Athens Public Transit. Bobcats ride for free.
Be sure to check on hours for resources like Cats' Cupboard, dining venues and University offices as they may have adjusted availability.
