The Annual Report provides insights into the work completed on behalf of the fellowship by the Board of Trustees, Executive Committee, At‑Large committees, and WSO Staff throughout the year. 

Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism, Al‑Anon’s public outreach magazine, is getting an update, and your personal perspective is needed on how Al‑Anon Family Groups can help people troubled by someone else’s drinking. Please send your sharing by November 21, 2025.

During National Recovery Month, observed each September in the US, and International Recovery Day, celebrated globally on September 30^th, members are encouraged to share the Al‑Anon message of hope and help with professionals who may encounter families impacted by alcoholism.

Recognizing the role addiction professionals play in family recovery helps extend Al‑Anon’s reach. We are grateful for their dedication to supporting family recovery and the communities they serve.

The Group Services department at the World Service Office (WSO) supports Al‑Anon and Alateen members and groups. The three Group Services team members are here to serve you Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm ET. We do our best to provide informed responses as quickly as possible. Being affected by the disease of alcoholism, we may have sought to protect ourselves from disappointment by not trusting anyone, or we may have placed our full trust in our alcoholic loved ones, inevitably resulting in disappointment.
