Father Josh will be giving a preview of our upcoming Adult Formation classes, explaining how our committee decides on topics, highlighting unique formation opportunities, and more. Join us in Wallace Hall at 10:00 AM as we prepare for a year of formation that will help you grow in faith and understanding. Our regular Formation programming for the Fall will begin on September 13th. 

Join us this Sunday for Holy Eucharist at 8:30 and 11:00 AM.  The service will be live-streamed and available on demand for later viewing. 

The Season of Creation is an annual Christian observance from September 1 to October 4. Millions of believers around the world unite through prayer, sustainability projects, and advocacy to care for the environment. This ecumenical movement began in 1989 in the Orthodox Church and expanded globally with support from the World Council of Churches and the Roman Catholic Church.

The 2026 theme is “Living Water.” This is St. B’s first year to participate! We’ll use these weeks to pay more attention to God’s role as our Creator and our role as creatures on this wonderful planet. You’ll hear more about it on Sundays especially in some of the special prayers, music, and sermon themes.  This special season will culminate with the Blessing of the Animals on the Feast of St. Francis on October 4.  Join us in praying with millions of other Christians around the world in thanksgiving for creation and efforts to be good stewards of this gift.

Join the men of St. B's Tuesday evening at M.L. Rose Neighborhood Pub on Eighth Avenue for burgers, beer and fellowship. We hope to see you there!

Volunteers Needed! Come help sort, stock and pack food boxes and distribute them to families in The Branch of Nashville's food distribution center. Ability to lift boxes and walk throughout the shift is helpful. Great for parents and children ages 10 and up. Sign up here.

We are in need of additional volunteers to serve at the prayer desk in both services. This is a vital ministry of St. B’s and if you have a calling to pray for others and/or have questions, please contact Pam MacArthur at pmacarthur@me.com.

The Welcome Team rotates through the various Sundays each month in teams of 3-4 preparing the coffee enjoyed at each service as well as welcoming all arrivals. Particular attention is paid to "new" or visiting folks by introducing ourselves and making sure these folks get to meet one of the clergy or vestry.  Contact Amy in the church office to get on the rotation list.

There are still openings for flower dedications for the remainder of the year. Flowers may be given in thanksgiving, celebration, or in memory of a loved one or event. Email Charity at cvoiles@stbs.net or sign up here.

Based on an overwhelming response, we are excited to announce the Young Adult 3rd Friday Monthly Potluck. Our first gathering will be on Friday, September 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Daugherty house. We'll start with a simple beans and rice dinner and send out a sign-up next week for toppings, dessert and drinks! If you need more info, please contact Rev. Heather.

456 Movie Night (4th, 5th, 6th grade)

456 kids are invited to come eat pizza and bring a snack to share with their friends! We'll meet in the youth room (across from the 456 formation room) from 4:00 pm-6:30 pm and watch The Wild Robot. RSVP here. 

We are taking on the challenge at Climb Nashville West! We'll meet a few minutes before 3:00 pm and have a guide give us a tour. Pick up at 5:00 pm. If your youth needs to carpool from St. B's please contact Gabe.
