San Diego Giving Circle Host Team celebrating a great night! Don't miss their reel!

Last month over 70 women gathered for a night of fun, celebration and impact, raising over $15,000 together. Mission partner volunteers planned a Galentine's themed night for their second giving circle. Women were inspired, more connected to YL locally and the incredible work of the Lord that San Diego Metro staff are called to. Watch mission partner women lead and host!
All over the country, women are inviting friends into their homes or fun venues, hosting giving circles and have raised over $485,000 collectively. Are you feeling inspired to gather women in your community? We would love to partner with you and share how giving circles work. Email us or learn more here.

Susan Ibarguen and her husband Tony, married for 37 years, became friends with the local YL staff in Pennsylvania over 30 years ago. They began supporting YL and were golf tournament sponsors because of YL's impact on young people for the gospel. It was when their own children came into their teen years that YL became more personal to them as they witnessed firsthand what a relationship with a YL leader meant for their kids. Through club, campaigners and camp, each were encouraged in their faith in significant ways.
Susan shared, "The saying 'It takes a village' for us held true and YL was our village during the testing & trying adolescent years of raising our children. In a culture that pulls them away from God, the YL leaders drew ours to God ... and at a time in life when parents are the last place they go."
Susan attended the first Global Giving Circle (GGC) in Southern California in 2019 and has participated ever since. She puts it this way, "The GGC gives me a way to put my faith in action and direct my giving in a way that matches the purpose God uniquely put in my heart while creating greater gospel impact on young people. Also, at the GGC, I have met women from around the country that I could identify with and share common stories. Plus, the ‘YL fun-factor’ at each GGC gave me a glimpse of why our kids loved young life so much. YL makes loving Jesus fun but serious and intentional."
