Dear Campus Community,

For the last several years, Colorado College has engaged in a collective effort to refresh how we express who we are—and ultimately, to share the CC story confidently and authentically to new and familiar audiences. The result is the latest reflection of our CC, shared creativity, and the many voices that make CC what it is.

The majority of brands are experienced in moments and incremental touchpoints—making it difficult to see the scope of the platform. With gratitude for our community’s collective contributions to this work, I’m delighted to invite you to a one-day immersive showcase—specifically for our campus community—that offers a holistic view of the efforts to date and a preview of what’s ahead as we move from building the foundation to sharing our story in new ways that deepen engagement.

Join us Friday, Feb. 20, from 1-4 p.m. in the Cornerstone Main Space to step inside the work we’ve been developing together and experience how it comes to life. At the showcase, you’ll explore a robust sampling of brand elements developed so far:

Messaging Framework
Explore the core ideas that anchor a shared language framework to help us cohesively and consistently speak on behalf of our CC—and how messages flex for different audiences and moments. 

Visual Identity 
Discover how color, pattern, and iconography come together to create a visual system that reflects CC’s place, character, and identity in a way that is uniquely and undeniably CC.

Web and Digital
Experience how the CC story comes to life in dynamic ways through our new website and interactive story platform—designed for exploration and engagement that keeps CC top of mind with key audiences.

Experiential and Environmental
Discover how the brand shows up in the real world through print, enrollment marketing, event branding and experiences, and the daily rhythm of campus.

On the Horizon
Get a sneak peek at proof-of-concept work and insights into the next chapter—the chapter where CC’s brand spreads in the form of new mediums and campaigns and will be infused across Athletics and the Fine Arts Center, the front doors of our CC. 

As you explore the showcase, please know that this is also a space for conversation. Throughout the afternoon, you’ll be invited to ask questions, share ideas, and engage directly with the Office of Communications & Marketing team members guiding this work on our collective behalf.

The Brand Showcase is both an expression of gratitude to all of you who contributed to the work and a rare opportunity to see the main points of the brand refresh efforts on display. I hope you’ll join us for this special, campus-only event.
