Jon Guerra Concert at St. B's
|
This Sunday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m.
|
We are excited that Jon Guerra is bringing his "Jesus" Album Tour to St. B's this Sunday, April 6. Known for his deeply introspective and artful devotional music, Guerra offers a refreshing take on contemporary Christian artistry.
Guerra describes his work as "less Sunday morning worship music and more Monday morning prayer music," crafting songs that invite listeners into a space of contemplation and spiritual reflection. His previous albums, such as "Keeper of Days" and "Ordinary Ways," have been praised for their profound lyrics and serene melodies.
Take some time to explore Jon's music – tickets start at $25 and can be purchased online.

Fifteen youth and 4 adults gathered for an epic battle across the church grounds in search of Easter eggs this past Sunday! Youth worked in teams to collect the most eggs while working together to avoid the "chaos rabbits," our adult leaders, who could take their eggs if youth were tagged by their stuffed carrots. Congratulations goes to our High School team who beat our Middle Schoolers by 2 eggs in this epic battle!
Special thanks to Jude Mason, Jill Danford, and Natalie Rapp who helped make this event possible.

| Learn about social media, teen relationships and more |
Mark your calendar for our Parent Forum this Thursday, April 3 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Wallace Hall. In our time together, you’ll have the opportunity to choose from four topic circles to learn and ask questions alongside your fellow St. B’s parents and friends. Our topic circles will discuss social media and your child’s social life, the transitions in parents and children’s relationship across adolescence, substance use, and navigating faith formation with children as parents. Each circle will be moderated and parents can choose the three circles to participate in during our time.
This event is open to all parents, both from St. B’s and our community beyond. Click here to RSVP.

| Resurrection calls for a joyful celebration! We will have our annual Egg Hunt at 10:15 a.m. (between the two Easter Morning Services). The lawn by the bell will be for children 2-7 years old, and the playground will be for children 8-12 years old.
Can you help us? Here are two ways you can make this event happen!
1. Pick up a bag of 12 eggs to fill with candy and return – The pink bins are in the Parish Hall lobby at the top of the stairs. If you have children participating, please take a dozen per child to fill and return before Good Friday. If you don't have children participating and just want to contribute candy-filled eggs, we love love to have your help!
2. Volunteer to scatter eggs before or help clean up after the hunt – Email Meredith to let her know that you can scatter eggs on Easter morning from 8:15-8:45 a.m., or if you can help take down bunting/balloons and make sure all wrappers are recycled!

| Interactive Stations
of the Cross |
Good Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. |
Invite your friends, neighbors, your children or just come by yourself. We provide a guide with prayers and ways to interact at each station along our walking path and you move at your own pace. This is our fifth year doing this, and we love how various ages prayerfully enter the story of Jesus' last moments on earth.

| Saturday, April 12 at 9:30 a.m. |
Come help sort, stock, pack food boxes and distribute them to families in The Branch of Nashville's food distribution center.
This is a great opportunity to work alongside members of the Antioch community, and for those who know a little Spanish or Arabic. Ability to lift boxes and walk throughout the shift is helpful. Great for parents and children ages 10 and up.
