Jessie Garcia Knowles Appointed to New Position at Clark Construction Group, Delfine Fox Assumes Role as Interim Executive Director

| New Music Business Committee to be Led by Board Member Jackie Marushka

| NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov. 17, 2023) — The Tennessee Latin American Chamber of Commerce, Tennessee's leading organization serving Latíne business leaders and entrepreneurs, announces organizational changes with more to follow in 2024.
The initial changes include Delfine Fox assuming the role of interim Executive Director of TLACC. Jessie Garcia Knowles, who served as Executive Director for nearly four years, has been appointed Community Affairs Manager at Clark Construction Group. Garcia Knowles will still direct all business for the sister organization, ELLA (Entrepreneur Latina Leaders of America) which launched in 2015 to serve Latina entrepreneurs in achieving their dreams of owning and growing a business. Through collaborations with the Pathway Women’s Business Center and SCORE, ELLA participants learn topics relevant to business development, including bootstrap marketing, accounting, financial literacy and more.
Fox, entrepreneur and former board chair, has stepped in immediately to fill the gap in leadership for TLACC, working with the Board of Directors on strategies and goals for 2024.
Further, a new Music Business committee has been formed which will be led by board member and entertainment business veteran, Jackie Marushka. The goal of the new committee is to invest and partner more deeply with the music and entertainment business in Music City.
Fox says, "Jessie Garcia Knowles has led TLACC seamlessly for nearly four years. Though we will miss her leadership and grace in our day to day work, we are thrilled for her new chapter and are grateful she remains the head of ELLA. Jessie, we appreciate your hard work and wish you every success in your new role at Clark Construction Group."
Eva Angelina Romero, Vice President of TLACC's Board of Directors, shares, "Jessie has been invaluable to our chamber. She has helped the chamber grow immensely through her experience in both the profit and nonprofit arenas. She has established and grown relationships with incredible partners including the Tennessee Titans, Nashville Predators, Nashville Soccer Club, plus colleges and universities in and out of the state of Tennessee. Her experience in day-to-day business of businesses ranging from corporations to small family-owned shops was invaluable and we hope to build on what she established. We love you, Jessie!"
