Please save the date for the 8th Annual Administrative Staff Retreat on Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This virtual retreat is designed for organizational, practice leaders and non-clinical staff who work with Partners For Kids. Sessions will include updates to the Ohio Pediatric Psychiatric Access Line, using AI in your daily activities and a Partners For Kids’ leadership panel. Register early to get a swag box!

Register for the Upcoming Primary Care Education Series: “What’s Under Your Skin? Dermatologic Presentation in Pediatrics.”
Registration is open for the upcoming Primary Care Education Series on Thursday, April 30, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Livingston Ambulatory Center (380 Butterfly Gardens Drive). A virtual option will also be available. This series will focus on case studies related to dermatologic presentations in pediatrics. Participants can submit questions after registration, and answers will be discussed by the expert panel during the event. The panel will highlight knowledge gaps and make recommendations about appropriate interventions.

Welcome, Julie Manuel!
Please welcome Julie Manuel, MSEd, LPCC-S, LICDC, NCC, as the Director for the West Region's Behavioral Health Population Health Stream. Julie brings a wealth of experience to the team having managed the Intensive Outpatient Programs across Kettering Health and maintains a private practice providing therapy and wellness services to First Responders and focusing on processing traumatic incidents in a healthy way. Julie is also an adjunct professor at Sinclair Community College, teaching Family Dynamics of Addiction and presenting Levels of Care in the Behavioral Health System. She is looking forward to connecting with community and state providers working toward a shared goal of providing the best quality care to our kids in the West Region. A fun fact about Julie is that she played professional pickleball for three years!

Quarterly Updates: Partners For Kids’ Pediatric-focused Unified Preferred Drug List (UPDL)
The Ohio Department of Medicaid’s (ODM) UPDL is developed by ODM and implemented by the single Pharmacy Benefit Manager, Gainwell Technologies. Partners For Kids has condensed the UPDL into commonly prescribed drug classes for pediatric primary care and behavioral health providers.
Partners For Kids' UPDL for Ohio Medicaid Plans is now available for review.
