In 2013, Richard was diagnosed with the chronic version of Guillain-Barré syndrome, a rare neurological condition in which the immune system attacks the nerves.

Closed captions and subtitles are not just crucial for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing. In today’s fast-paced world, people consume multimedia content on the go, for example, individuals who are watching a video in a noisy environment, or who may be in a location where audio is not permitted, can still access and understand the content through closed captions or subtitles. In addition, closed captions and subtitles can also be used to support language translation and localization.

Reportedly over 20,000 Ukrainians have needed amputations since the war began in February 2022.
The Ukrainian Football Federation organized this initiative a few months ago to support soldiers who lost limbs and help their rehabilitation and return to normal life. There are both men and women. Some of them were injured after the 2022 invasion, while others lost limbs following the start of the war in Ukraine in 2014.
