Orange County Health Department Identifies Potential Measles Exposure at an Orange County Location |

| The Orange County Health Department has been notified that a person with measles visited a public location in Orange County while contagious.
Anyone who was at the following location during the date and time listed may have been exposed:
Goodwill Store
1115 Weaver Dairy Road
Chapel Hill, NC 27514
Feb. 6, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
If you were at this location during that time and have never received the measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine, please call 919-245-2400 and ask to speak with a communicable disease nurse to assess your risk.

Order a Free Tree by March 15 |

Orange County residents are eligible to receive one free tree per household.
Available trees:
• Eastern Redbud (Cercis canadensis)
• Red Oak (Quercus rubra)
• Chestnut Oak (Quercus montana)
Pick-up will take place on March 20, 2026, from 3–5 p.m. at the Bonnie B. Davis Environment and Agricultural Center, 1020 US-70, Hillsborough. The event will be held rain or shine.
To receive a tree, complete the online form by March 15. Only one submission per household.

Arts Immersion Summer Camp Registration Open Now |

| Arts Immersion Summer Camps are for
rising 1st–3rd, 4th–6th, and 7th–10th grades.
Join the Orange County Arts Commission this summer for a creative arts experience designed especially for youth. The week-long camps offer multi-disciplinary arts immersion, with opportunities to explore visual, literary, and performing arts all summer long. With a wide variety of engaging projects and activities each week, campers can look forward to something new every day.
All art supplies are provided (unless otherwise noted). Please dress for mess.
Camp Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
Drop-off: 8:45–9:00 a.m.
Pick-up: 3:00–3:15 p.m.
Cost: $240–$300 per week
Financial assistance is available.
