Tribute to Honor the Lives Lost to COVID-19
On Tuesday, January 19, the day before Inauguration Day, President-elect Joe Biden is holding a lighting ceremony at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in honor of lives lost to COVID-19. Biden is also inviting communities around the country to join in lighting up their buildings and ringing church bells at 5:30 p.m. EST in “a national moment of unity and remembrance," according to a recent press release.
The Downtown Tucson Partnership (DTP) encourages all property owners to join in and keep their roof light lines on, thereby extending the DTP Building Illumination Program through January 20. Thank you in advance for your collective participation.
