The UTA volleyball team will take on Southern Utah University Thursday, Oct. 3, at College Park Center. The first 150 students to arrive can enjoy free nachos in the Corral (student section) starting at 5:30 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 5, the volleyball team will have another home game, and there will be a friendship bracelet giveaway for students.

Fall Festivals: Trivia and Crafternoon

On Monday, Oct. 7, join the Department of Global Engagement, Study Abroad, and EXCEL Campus Activities for an afternoon of global trivia and crafts. The event will be held 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Palo Duro Lounge of the University Center.

Watch a Hispanic Heritage Month student feature about Emilio Infante Hernandez, a student majoring in art education at UTA. Hernandez is the president of Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity, Inc. Chi Alpha Chapter, and the vice president of recruitment and engagement for the Multicultural Greek Council. After graduation, he plans to teach in the DFW area and pursue a graduate degree in higher education to encourage students to pursue a college education.
